Each valid entry will be eligible for a random drawing to win the Y-Rock on XPN Modern Rock Madness Contest. The prize includes a new 4 gigabyte iPod Shuffle.

1. How to Enter the Contest:

a. You can submit your entry starting on Friday, April 3, 2009 at 10pm.
All entries must be postmarked by or received digitally by XPN no later than 11:59pm on Friday, April 10, 2009. All times are Eastern Time.

b. To participate in the contest, use any one of the following methods (all entries must include your first and last name, address, home phone number, and date of birth):

c. WXPN is not responsible for a submission that is lost, undelivered or misdirected, or for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the Internet, service outages or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches.

d. From all correct entries, two entries and five alternates will be chosen at random and the first two selected eligible contestants will be announced as the prize winners on the air on Wednesday, April 15, 2009.  The prize winners will also be notified by phone, mail or e-mail.

2. Eligibility Restrictions

The contest is open to adults (18 years or older). Employees of WXPN, its contest sponsors, volunteer staff members, and the members of their households are ineligible to participate in the contest or win. One entry per person.

3. The Prize:

a. The Prize will include a new 4 gigabyte iPod Shuffle. The Prize has a total estimated retail value of $79.00.

b. The prize may be picked up at the office of WXPN, 3025 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA during business hours, upon the winner's provision of certification of eligibility and an executed prize receipt and publicity release.

4. Selection of Winners:

a. Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final.

b. One entry and five alternates will be selected at random from all correct entries received or postmarked by the deadline, and the first selected eligible contestant will be announced as the prize winner on -----.

c. Winner needs not listen or be present to win. WXPN will contact the winner. If a prize winner does not claim the prize within seven business days after the winners are announced, that contestant will forfeit the prize and an alternate winner will be selected in order from the alternate entries drawn.

5. Conditions:

a. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner.

b. By participating in the contest, the winner agrees to have his or her name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize. The winners must also sign a prize receipt and certify compliance with all eligibility requirements prior to release of the prize.

c. WXPN, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person for tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the WXPN Web Site(s) or who is otherwise in violation of the rules.

6. Right to Make Changes

WXPN reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, which will become effective upon announcement.

7. No Purchase Required

No purchase or donation is necessary.

8. Responsibilities

WXPN is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.

9. Copies of the Contest Rules

Copies of the written contest rules will be available up to 30 days after the end of the contest at www.xpn.org/yrock/home.
