Summer music festival season is right around the corner. With the announcement of the XPoNential Music Festival lineup last month, and now the announcement of Wayne Music Festival’s return, it’s hard to deny how close the summer is, nevermind the weather currently. The Wayne Music Festival is set take place on June 9th this year, and the first wave of artists to perform has been announced by the fest’s organizers.

Set to headline this year’s fest is singer/songwriter Joan Osborne, known for her collaborations with Grateful Dead member Phil Lesh, her current group, Trigger Hippy, as well as her extensive solo catalogue. Reggae influenced rock and pop group The Samples are set to perform, in addition to Philadelphia’s own New Sound Brass, 2017 WMF performers Rugby Road, and more.
