Pusha T, 6ix9ine, LilSkies, and Daniel Caesar added to Jay Z’s Made In America lineup
There has been a great deal of conversation surrounding Jay Z’s Made In America on whether or not the annual music festival would continue to be held on the Ben Franklin Parkway. Luckily the city of Philadelphia decided to keep the festival in place (read about it here), and in further good news, the festival announced a bunch of new artists this week.
Joining the Labor Day Weekend event are Pusha T, Tekashi 6ix9ine, Lil Skies and Daniel Caesar. They will be performing alongside powerhouse artists such as Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, Meek Mill, Diplo and more.
It’s exciting to see all these big-name artists joining the bill, especially the infamous Pusha T. Rooted in the Bronx, Pusha has been in the spotlight with his new album Daytona, produced by Kanye West. On the album was a ruthless Drake diss track that dropped the jaws of many. Also added was New York rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, known as the face-tatted dude, rockin’ rainbow hair, who has risen to fame with multiple hits including his latest single “FEFE” featuring Nicki Minaj. If we’re lucky, maybe the two will perform the single, sitting at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. Hailing from the small town of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, Atlantic-signed emcee Lil Skies joins the crew along with heart-stopping Canadian R&B singer Daniel Caesar.
With the dust finally settled on the fate of Made In America, we can now focus on counting down the days to what will be a great Labor Day weekend, taking place on September 1st and 2nd. For more information, check the XPN Concert Calendar.
