There’s a new summer concert series in Philadelphia to get excited about. Philly Grown at the massive new Delaware river deck at Liberty Point is shaping up to be where we’ll be spending a lot of time in the next couple months. The event, organized by Chef Eli Kulp’s Delicious City and Philly Independent Productions, occurs every Tuesday evening starting July 5th through August 30th, and features rotating menus from exciting local chefs and a dynamic lineup of Philly bands.

“With this being the first summer in over two years that we feel great about gathering, it’s the perfect time to combine our shared love of food and music to throw a great Philly Grown party,” says Kulp in a press release, adding the event “is exactly what this city needs right now.” Former regional talent buyer at Johnny Brenda’s and curator of the Sunflower Garden x Human Robot concert series Marley McNamara secured some feature-worthy talent to round out the music aspect of the event, including Kensington Clearwater Revival who play on night one, followed by garage rock trio Slomo Sapiens, raw and rootsy outfit Britt Thomas Band, and more. See the full lineup of bands below.

Tickets are $15 (excluding food and drink), with 20% of ticket sales benefiting charities to protect reproductive rights. You can find them by searching the WXPN Concerts and Events page.
