It’s Philly Music Fest week, and if you can’t experience this bounty of locally-rooted live music in person, WXPN is bringing some of it to you, wherever you are.

On Tuesday, October 11th, an expanded edition of the WXPN Local Show will carry a live broadcast from a very sold out Ardmore Music Hall, where the Los Angeles folk rock band Mt. Joy headlines, along with jazzy R&B singer-songwriter Saleka. The sets begin at 8:50 p.m., and will be preceded by a Key Studio Session from Shamir — who plays a PMF gig on Friday at The Dolphin — as well as an assortment of artists you’ll see onstage around the city this week.

Tune in beginning at 8 p.m. ET at 88.5 FM, or streaming online at XPN.org. Tickets remain for many PMF shows this week; for more information, head to PhillyMusicFest.com.

Saleka - "Echo"
