A Valentines tour from Tigers Jaw features a stop at City Winery Philly - WXPN | Vinyl At Heart

One of Philadelphia’s most beloved indie-rock / emo bands, Tigers Jaw, will be treating those in New York and Pennsylvania well this Valentine’s week. With love in the air, these Scranton DIYers are preparing to charm those who make it out to the City Winery locations in New York City, Pittsburgh, and Philly.

The tour starts February 13 with Philadelphia as their last stop on the 16th. These three all-acoustic shows will have guitarist Ben Walsh and keyboardist/vocalist Brianna Collin playing as a duo, which they did a few times over the summer during their most recent tour opening for Joyce Manor, and have done in the past, like in their 2017 Tiny Desk Concert. To see Tigers Jaw in an environment like Philadelphia’s City Winery is a rare concert experience; the band encourages attendees to “invite a friend, lover, or enemy and we’ll play plenty of songs, tell a few stories, and have a nice time at these intimate acoustic shows.”

Tickets are on sale now and more information can be found at WXPN’s Concerts and Events page, check out a past video of Tigers Jaw as an acoustic duo below.
