WXPN offers the opportunity for local students to gain meaningful, hands-on experience at a nationally recognized leader in Triple-A radio. We hire students studying media, production, engineering, journalism, marketing, public relations, photography, design, business, non-profit management and related fields, and we provide a practical extension and enrichment of a student’s coursework. WXPN is a remarkable work environment for motivated and independent individuals. Many students who start working with us their freshman year continue at WXPN until their education is complete.
WXPN welcomes students, particularly from the University of Pennsylvania, to apply for these unpaid internships. Intern applicants need to be available Monday through Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm. Most internship positions require a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week.
Please note: Due to the large volume of applications, we are unable to notify applicants who are not selected for internships
