(5 Hours per week minimum (A flexible schedule is required)| This is an unpaid internship)


Assist Broadcast Engineer and Director of Engineering with FM transmission related hardware/software systems, studio technologies, studio to transmitter links, audio editing, radio automation system, hardware/software troubleshooting and integration. Assist Broadcast Engineer with remote field broadcasts. Assist with basic facilities upkeep and maintenance. Some travel (with WXPN staff) and occasional nights and weekends required. Other duties as assigned by manager.


Candidate should have a strong interest in all aspects of how FM Radio is created from a technical standpoint. Candidate should be able to work in an office and radio production environment with minimal supervision. Experience with audio recording and editing equipment is a plus! This is an entry level position and anyone with interest is encouraged to apply.
