Cat Power joins host Raina Douris

When it comes to cover songs, Chan Marshall – who performs as Cat Power – is a bit of a prodigy. She has a remarkable ability to transform other artists’ songs – She inhabits them, and recreates them entirely new. Cat Power recently released her THIRD album of reimagined material – It’s appropriately titled, Covers. Chan explains why she thinks it’s okay to change the lyrics in a cover song, and we’ll hear her story of meeting Bob Dylan – one of her heroes – and what he taught her.
