Encore: Bob Mould joins host Stephen Kallao

Bob Mould has been writing protest music for over 30 years but took a sidestep with 2019’s Sunshine Rock – a love letter to the music of his youth. Now, the Hüsker Dü singer is back to the signature raw angst that’s defined his career, with his latest album, Blue Hearts. Mould joins host Stephen Kallao to talk about returning to his confrontational songwriting and what it was like growing up gay in the ‘80s. Plus, Bob Mould performs live, on this special encore broadcast of World Cafe for Pride Month.
