In 2021, Dr. Dog announced they were done with touring. Some fans thought they’d never hear from the band again but now, three years later, they’re back with a new album. On the next World Cafe, lead singers Toby Leaman and Scott McMicken play a stripped-down set of the new songs and talk about what the break meant for each of them and how it has changed the band’s creative process.
