Marcus King joins host Raina Douris

Marcus King is happy for the first time in a long time. The 26 year-old guitar virtuoso released the follow-up to his 2020 debut back in the Spring – It’s called Young Blood, and despite how rockin’ it sounds at first listen, it’s the product of some very difficult years for King. Coming up on the World Cafe, Marcus shares what ultimately helped him find his way out of the darkness, and what it was like working on the new music with Dan Auerbach and Desmond Child. Plus, Marcus King performs live.
