Joachim Cooder joins host Jessie Scott

Ry Cooder and his son Joachim Cooder share a love of the music of Uncle Dave Macon. Macon was one of the first stars of the Grand Ole Opry, and Joachim was reminded just how much he loved him when he saw his own kids’ enthusiasm for the songs. On the next World Cafe, Joachim talks about how that led to his new album, which is truly a family affair, and plays live versions of the songs with Ry.
