Kung Fu Necktie’s new upstairs bar is open for business
It’s been a busy 2012 for the folks at Kung Fu Necktie, what with the whole going-all-ages-and-BYOB-after-failing-to-renew-its-liquor-license thing (which has since been resolved). But now, the venue has announced that not only can it legally serve alcohol in the downstairs area we’ve all come to know and love, but it can also do so in its new upstairs bar—which is now open to the public. From KFN:
KUNG FU NECKTIE has officially opened its UPSTAIRS to the public. Embrace the hominess of KFN’s new upstairs hangout spot complete with a pool table, games, and a brand new bar. Picture a living room — NOT your grandmom’s living room (No plastic couch covers here). Our upstairs is fully equipped for fun times, offering all KFN patrons an unassuming deviation from your conventional run-of-the-mill bar. It’s like having two of your favorite bars in one location. Keep an ear to the ground (or to KFN’s Twitter) as we start announcing events and specials EXCLUSIVE to our new upstairs bar coming VERY SOON.
The venue’s current schedule only lists events in the downstairs area, but we’ll let you know when we hear about what type of events they plan to hold upstairs.
