Reverb Society
Donors who initiate a planned gift to WXPN are welcomed into the Reverb Society, our legacy recognition group.
Benefits include two annual events, a quarterly newsletter, and inclusion in the University of Pennsylvania’s Harrison Society.
Ways to Make a Planned Gift
- Make a Bequest: remember WXPN in your will.
- Sample language: “I hereby give, devise and bequeath to the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, a nonprofit corporation organized and operating under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the sum of ____________ (or ___ % of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate) to be used for WXPN.”
- Name WXPN as a beneficiary on your Life Insurance Policy
- Individual Retirement Account (IRA): Individuals may make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from their IRA directly to WXPN beginning at age 70½.

WXPN’s Musicians On Call brings the healing power of live music to hospital patients, families, and medical staff. The program serves 10 Philadelphia-area hospitals through volunteer-facilitated live performances, digital music libraries, and recorded sessions. Learn more here.

Double Your Impact
Employer Matching. Many employers match charitable contributions. Check with your HR department – doubling your gift costs you nothing extra.
Give from Your DAF
Donor-Advised Fund. UPenn EIN 23-1352685. Note the designation as WXPN and notify us so we can acknowledge your gift. Grants from DAFs are not eligible for additional tax deduction and may not receive membership benefits including complimentary Festival passes, concert tickets, etc.
We strongly recommend asking your advisor to direct your DAF gift to UPenn via ACH to avoid delays with your gift reaching WXPN.
