Get ready for Archawah’s summer EP with the new track “Islands Of Blue”
Archawah has said he’ll release music on his own on schedule, whenever it’s ready in his ears. Well, Illinois frontman Chris Archibald is ready to send out his second installment in a series of solo EPs, and “Islands Of Blue” is our first listen into its contents. The full EP will be available next week on June 20th.
“Islands Of Blue” is the perfect windows-down summer tune. It’s spacey vibe is care-free and effortlessly gives off the idea that we just need one person to make things feel right — “All we have is in this room, one light between us two. Still, need to share with you; all smiles in islands of blue,” sings Archibald in the chorus. If the rest of the EP is anything like this, it’s sure to find its way onto the summer soundtrack of music junkies in Philly and beyond.
We’ve been big fans of Archawah since the solo project started late last year. From the premiere of “Silvermoon” in November to The Key Studio Session just a couple months back, the early goings have been fun. So be on the lookout for the second EP from Archawah next week, and get a head start on it by listening to “Islands Of Blue” below.
