Rockers Galore celebrate spring with new music video for their single “Celebration Life”
Philly’s Rockers Galore is welcoming spring with their new music video for their previously released single “Celebration Life.”
Alongside the optimistic lyrics of the track, the Philly band, led by bassist and songwriter Blayer Pointdujour create a warm and optimistic mood within the outdoor visuals along the el in the River Wards, mixed with shots of clouds and blooming flowers.
“I wanted to shoot in an area of Philadelphia where a lot of people avoid,” says Pointdujour, “The people in that area have a story just like all of us.” Blayer continues, “Covid has made life harder for everyone. This new record of ours explores the struggles of Biblical characters such as Moses, King Solomon, as well as our own personal struggles to get through 2020.”
Rockers Galore will release a new EP on April 20. The project, Toddin Out of Babylon, will feature the eccentric and varied style of Rockers Galore, including hip-hop, rock, reggae, Haitian kompa, and other Caribbean influences. Check out the new music video below.
