Founded and organized by Philly-made trombonist Ernest Stuart and presented by our friends at WRTI 90.1 FM, Philly’s Center City Jazz Festival returns on April 22nd, 2023 after a three-year hiatus. The festival involves a mix of jazz stylings from classical to experimental, focusing on who’s hot in the scene now like performers Dezron Douglas, Pasquale Grasso, and Joanna Pascale, as well as local heavy-hitters James Santangelo, Max Swan, and Victor North.

The daytime festival takes place across four venues: Time Restaurant, Fergie’s Pub, Franky Bradley’s, and Chris’ Jazz Cafe. Showtimes for specific artists and venues are coming soon, and will be available here. Tickets for the full day are on sale now, with first-come first-served priority given to guests on the day of show. Check out WXPN Concerts and Events page for tickets, or for more information, click here.
