This spring, east coast punk vets Titus Andronicus are touring their seventh studio album, The Will To Live, and after giving us a taste of their raw and revved up live show in an Indie Rock Hit Parade session, they warmed up their Philly fans Thursday night at Underground Arts.
In addition to showcasing the new record, the band’s setlist strongly featured their 2010 breakout The Monitor, as well as their 2015 double LP The Most Lamentable Tragedy, with other back-catalog faves mixed in (shoutout “Fear And Loathing In Mahwah, NJ”). Nashville rootsy indie rock trio Country Westerns opened the show, and you can check out photos below care of WXPN photographer Megan Matuzak.
The band’s tour wraps up tonight at Elsewhere in Brooklyn; tickets can be found here.
