The indie supergroup composed of Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker blew up the internet this week when they made a new music announcement. In the midst of their North American tour, the trio shared that a 4-track EP will be out on all platforms on Friday the 13th.
It’s called the rest, a followup to their 2023 album the record, and is available for pre-order in a limited edition yellow-tinted or classic black 10” vinyl and CD. They’ve only revealed the title to their opening track, “Black Hole,” a song debuted during their Boston show at the MGM Music Hall. Pre-save now and you can expect ‘the rest’ this mid-October.
boygenius plays the Mann Center in Philadelphia with Samia this Saturday, September 30th. Tickets sold out in a flurry, but if you are down with Ticketmaster’s “verified resale” secondary market and a hefty markup, you can still find your way to the show this weekend.
