Joining us in the studio for this Indie Rock Hit Parade live session is Miya Folick, the Los Angeles-based artist whose newest album, ROACH, features some of the year’s most captivating songwriting. Unlike the art-pop of her celebrated debut, Premonitions, the arrangements on ROACH are stark and straightforward. Following a full-band show at The Foundry last month, Folick visited our studios with just an acoustic guitar to distill the new songs even further; the result is an intimate, mesmerizing set.

Folick has already followed up ROACH with the several new singles: a cover of Annie Lennox’s 1992 anthem “Walking on Broken Glass” and her original “What We Wanna” serves as the lead single to the soundtrack of the new Apple TV+ series The Buccaneers. You can stream those below as well.
