They say good things come in threes. That has certainly been the case with Beabadoobee recently. Earlier in May, she released “Take A Bite” and announced her third album, This Is How Tomorrow Moves, which will come out on August 16th via Dirty Hit. Last week, she announced a North American tour with support from Hovvdy.
Her single released this month, “Take A Bite,” signifies a change from Bea’s dreamy bedroom-pop sound, managing to stay true to everything we love about her while pushing the singer/songwriter into new sonic territory. Her introspective lyrics are still present, but there’s a raw and immediate undertone that suggests maturity and growth.
“I love this album,” shared Beabadoobee in a statement. “I feel like it’s helped me so much more than anything else has in navigating this new era, this new understanding of where I’m at. I guess it’s about becoming a woman.”
She will kick off her brief US tour right here in Philly at the Met on September 8. Tickets go on sale June 6, and in the meantime, listen to “Take A Bite” and watch the music video below!
