The Folk Show to feature special second-hour programming
The next six weeks of the Folk Show will feature special second-hour programming curated by our interim hosts David Dye, Jim McGuinn, and Bruce Warren. See the schedule and what their second-hour plans are here.
As you know, longtime and beloved Folk Show host Ian Zolitor left WXPN after a decade of serving up folks tunes to listeners.
While we search for a permanent replacement, we’ve got a rotating slate of hosts you know and love who will be spinning for the Folk Show: David Dye, Bruce Warren, and Jim McGuinn are filling in Sunday nights from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Together, the trio decided to create some special features in the second hour of their shows each week over the next month-plus.
Check out the schedule for the coming weeks, as well as the special second hour themes, below.
- Oct. 4, David Dye —John Prine
- Oct. 11, Bruce Warren — Country Folk(s)
- Oct. 18, David Dye — English Folk Revival
- Oct. 25, Jim McGuinn — Joan Baez
