Who They Are: Southwestern singer-songwriter Courtney Marie Andrews began writing songs as a teenager, leaving home to sing backup vocals of Jimmy Eat World and Damien Jurado. With several albums already on her resume, her 2016 release May Your Kindness Remain proved to be a breakout album. Andrews has a beautiful voice – along the lines of Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris. Her voice packs an intense emotional punch. She recorded a World Cafe session, performed at XPoNential Music Festival, and was named a WXPN Artist to Watch in April of 2018.
