Who They Are:

Jim James is the front person of My Morning Jacket, a folk-psych rock group largely considered one of the greatest of the 2000s. With James as the primary songwriter and producer, the band emerged into the mainstream with their sophomore record At Dawn in 2001, and continued to challenge fans with their evolving sound throughout the decade. On a break from My Morning Jacket, James released two solo records of original music in 2013 and ‘16, as well as covers by George Harrison, The Beach Boys, Cher, Bob Dylan, and many more throughout his career.
