Who They Are:
The duo of Etta Friedman and Allegra Weingarten launched their indie rock band Momma in 2020, and reached new levels with their album Household Name, released in 2022 on Polyvinyl Records. Channeling favorites from the alt-rock canon — many of whom get lyrical namedrops, like Smashing Pumpkins and The Breeders. In short, they rock, and made several albums of indie rock songs worthy of repeated listenings. The band made their Philly debut with a Free At Noon concert in June of 2022.
