Where They’re From:
Who They Are:
SNACKTIME, Philadelphia’s gem of a seven-piece brass band, has quickly become a beloved fixture in the city’s music scene with their unique blend of soul, funk, punk, jazz, hip-hop, and R&B. The group bloomed during the pandemic’s peak, their initial performances in Rittenhouse Square, combining music, food, and a sense of community, quickly drew large crowds. These gatherings not only offered a break from the lockdown but also celebrated Philadelphia’s music scene. Their journey from free park concerts to selling out venues and participating in major festivals underscores their rapid rise and the strong connection they’ve forged with their audience.
2023 was a banner year for SNACKTIME, with sold-out shows in Philly, NYC, and LA, and performances at notable festivals like Life Is Beautiful and Sea. Hear. Now. As they step into 2024, the band kicked off with a bang, selling out a New Year’s Eve show at Brooklyn Bowl Philly. With a U.S. tour supporting Portugal. The Man on the horizon and a spot at SXSW, SNACKTIME is on the brink of an even bigger year. The anticipation for their studio debut single, produced by Grammy-nominated Will Yip, is high, signaling a new chapter for the band as they continue to blend diverse musical styles into a sound uniquely their own.
