Beverly and Elizabeth Glenn-Copeland are facing mortality with unadulterated joy

Beverly Glenn-Copeland and Elizabeth Copeland are the kind of couple who make you believe in soulmates. In conversation, they seem deeply connected — holding hands and exchanging looks that convey trust and love. That connection extends to their creative collaboration, most recently on their new album, Laughter in Summer.

Today, you’ll hear the story of how they first met, years after Glenn released his beloved 1986 album, Keyboard Fantasies. They also discuss the latest chapter of their lives as they navigate Glenn’s major cognitive disorder, a form of dementia he was diagnosed with in 2023.
