How to submit a concert or event for consideration
The WXPN Concert & Events Calendar is a curated listing that reflects the breadth of the artists and genres that the station programs. The calendar decisions are made by WXPN’s programming and promotions department and are not influenced by third-party support of the station.
WXPN does not guarantee that every submission will be listed.
Please allow at least two weeks of lead time to post to the calendar if we accept your submission.
Guidelines used while adding concerts and events to the WXPN Calendar:
- The Concert or event should appeal to XPN Listeners or potential listeners.
- The event is in the Philadelphia Metro area, Central PA, Lehigh Valley, and North Jersey.
Music genres generally considered:
- Rock
- Indie Rock/Alternative
- Hip-Hop
- Roots
- High profile Folk concerts
- High profile Blues concerts
- High profile Jazz concerts
- High profile R&B/Soul concerts
Generally not considered:
- Cover/Tribute Bands
- Classical concerts
- House concerts
- Open Mic
