Friday is shaping up to be a fun entry into the weekend, as we at WXPN will host UK post-punk outfit Yard Act for what’s expected to be a high-energy Free At Noon performance.

The band is out on tour now, supporting their third studio album You’re Gonna Need a Little Music, which released just about a month ago. They’ll play in New York City Thursday night before stopping in Philly for Free At Noon as they make their way to Washington DC for a Friday night gig.

Yard Act will be back up in Philly for a show at Underground Arts Saturday night with The Armed.

But you can watch them for free by RSVPing to Free At Noon online here.

If you can’t make it to the Music Hall at World Stage, Yard Act’s performance will be broadcast live on air at 88.5 FM and on the WXPN website player, available at the top of every page on the site.

In the meantime, be sure to check out Yard Act’s 2022 Indie Rock Hit Parade live session here and their World Cafe interview from the same year here.
