Who They Are: Led by singer, songwriter and pianist Adam Weiner, Low Cut Connie draws inspiration from the early days of rock and roll, Blues, and R&B. As a frontman, Weiner cuts a compelling and charismatic persona, performing with the kind of rock and roll energy, showmanship and swagger of Little Richard. Sidelined by the pandemic in 2019, Weiner started the popular web-based weekly live stream, Tough Cookies, with Low Cut Connie guitarist Will Donnelly. Whether on record, in live performance on a stage, or coming to you on a live stream from his South Philly house, a Low Cut Connie show is always a booty shaking, sweaty, and fun, rocking good time, complete with lots of cover songs from Weiner’s musical heroes.
