Johnny Brenda’s is one of our favorite venues and an integral institution in the local music scene. Their head booker Barrett Lindgren chimed in with some bands and albums he’s hooked on for this week’s Ears We Trust.
Barrett Lindgren took over the Head Talent Buyer role at Johnny Brenda’s in late 2019, but he’s been booking shows across Philly since about 2009. His knowledge of the music scene — locally, nationally, and internationally — means he’s definitely got ears we trust.
