Another night of free music from WXPN? That’s right. We’ve got another Homegrown Live show on the calendar, and you’re invited to catch three local acts without paying a cent.

On Aug. 12, the Lounge at World Stage will host Max Davey, Dylan Zangwill, and Birdie Busch.

While it’s free to attend, registration is required. Sign up to see the show online here.

Zangwill, now 19, appeared on America’s Got Talent in 2021 when he was just 14 years old. He competed on American Idol the following year, making it to the Hollywood round. His song “Running The Hell Out” was produced by Adam Weiner of Low Cut Connie.

Davey is a rising singer-songwriter in the local folk, Americana, and bluegrass scene. Before our Homegrown Live show, she’s playing with Valley Flowers at 118 North in Wayne July 19, supporting Sixpence None the Richer July 29 in Haddon Heights, and heading to Exton for a free gig on Aug. 11.

Busch, a WXPN favorite, released her latest album, Night Blooming, in March. Listeners have likely heard the track “Our Own Cure” on our airwaves. Check out some live performances from Busch recorded for the Unprecedented Sessions in 2021.
