In the 80s, the U.K. became the center of an electrifying dub scene – and Adrian Sherwood was in the thick of it.
The record producer and founder of On-U Sound Records helped the Jamaican-born genre flourish in his home country. But, he’s not so sure that same scene could take root in 2025:
“I think it’s much harder now to gently, innocently nurture something mystical and magical.”
