During the pandemic lockdown, Cut Copy wasn’t interested in being creative. With members split between the US and their native Australia, it was too hard to record anyway. But slowly, band founder Dan Whitford began to work on demos – eventually collecting over 300 hundred – that would serve as the foundation to their latest album, Moments.
Today Dan and Tim Hoey of Cut Copy join Kallao to talk about finding their way back to making music, and in this clip, the authenticity of recorded music.
