Devon Gilfillian joins host Raina Douris

Last month, Devon Gilfillian released his debut album, Black Hole Rainbow. It mixes his many old-school influences, like Al Green and Jimi Hendrix, with things like Afrobeat, inspired by a recent trip to Johannesburg. But five years ago, he was cutting his teeth as a college bar act, playing covers by all sorts of artists, including Grace Potter. Now, Devon’s on tour with her. He shares what that experience has been like for the past couple months, and about relocating to Nashville and falling in love with country music.
