Ruston Kelly joins host Stephen Kallao
Following his very public divorce from country star Kacey Musgraves, Ruston Kelly took time to be alone and reflect before getting back to work. The singer-songwriter’s relocation to Portland, Tennessee and an inspired trip to Joshua Tree National Park set the table for his new album, The Weakness. It’s Kelly’s most expansive record yet, playing with indie and emo rock sounds – We’ll hear some of the new music performed live on the World Cafe, and Kelly shares about the challenges he faced before the songs started pouring out of him.
