The Hold Steady join host Stephen Kallao

Indie rock mainstays, The Hold Steady, paint pictures of everyday life through their music. The latest batch of characters and stories on their new album, Open Door Policy, revolve around power and mental health. The songs were penned in 2019, and lead singer Craig Finn will join host Stephen Kallao to share about the band’s songwriting process – which he describes as writing about “the high” and “the hangover.”
