Arooj Aftab joins host Raina Douris

Arooj Aftab recently won the Grammy for Best Global Music Performance for her song “Mohabbat” from her album Vulture Prince. It’s not only an exciting win for her, but also, possibly for her parents who were a bit nervous when she told them years ago that she was moving from their home in Lahore, Pakistan to America to study music. Arooj talks about her journey and how she brings her heritage into her music.
