Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones recently had his memoir Lonely Boy adapted for a limited TV series on FX. Full of wild and touching stories, it lifts the curtain on a groundbreaking band that helped introduce punk music to the world. On the next World Cafe, Jones shares his personal reflections – from the abuse he suffered as a child to stealing gear from David Bowie – in a conversation from 2017, when his memoir had just been released.
