Uwade joins host Stephen Kallao

While attending University, singer songwriter Uwade recorded a cover of the song “Mykonos”, which eventually made its way to Fleet Foxes singer Robin Pecknold, who then invited her to play shows with the band. Uwade has just released her debut album, Florilegium, and on the World Cafe, she discusses her journey from choir camp to opening for the Strokes.
