Four Flies Records joins host Raina Douris
The Rome based record label Four Flies Records has a very specific and somewhat unusual mission – to recover and release Italian B movie soundtracks from the 1960s, 70s and 80s. For the first dispatch in the latest edition of their Sense of Place series, World Cafe takes you to Four Flies Records for a conversation with the label’s founder, Pier De Sanctis. He shares what ignited his passion for this niche area of music and discusses some of his most exciting discoveries in the decade he has been doing this work.
