Jorge Drexler joins host Raina Douris

Jorge Drexler struggled to write his latest album Tinta y Tiempo in isolation during COVID. He missed the interaction of working with others. But while the process may have been tough, his work was rewarded – he took home Song of the Year and 5 other awards at the Latin Grammys! On the World Cafe, we kick off our Sense of Place: Madrid series hearing some of those songs recorded live in Madrid.

Listen to the session here.
