Simien joins host Stephen Kallao
Marcella Simien was practically born onstage, growing up immersed in the sounds of Cajun Country. A ninth generation Louisiana Creole, Simien is the daughter of two-time Grammy Award-winning Zydeco luminary Terrance Simien – and she’s a musician in her own right. For World Cafe’s Acadiana Music Showcase, Simien performs songs from her latest album, To Bend to the Will of a Dream That’s Being Fulfilled.
