Wilco joins host Stephen Kallao

A band that’s resisted the alt-country label for a majority of their career just went ahead and made a country record…Wilco says their latest album, Cruel Country, is the group’s first true country album, and as frontman Jeff Tweedy explains it, there’s something about the simplicity of country music that brought the band together. We’ll hear more from Jeff about the new songs and how they were influenced by today’s complicated state of affairs in the U.S.
