Matt Ross-Spang joins host Stephen Kallao

From his work at Sun Records to his final recordings at Graceland, Memphis holds a special place in Elvis Presley’s career. A newly released 5-disc collection, titled Memphis, chronicles the King’s time in Grind City. On the World Cafe, we talk with Grammy-winning record producer Matt Ross-Spang about these newly mixed versions of some Elvis classics, and why his legacy remains steadfast almost 50 years later.
