Amanda Shires joins host Raina Douris
After releasing her last album, fiddle-player and songwriter Amanda Shires thought she was done with making records – Partly because she never felt taken seriously in the studio. But that all changed when she realized it was just a matter of pairing up with the right person. That right person was indie pop artist Lawrence Rothman, who’s also produced for artists like Courtney Love and Angel Olsen. Shires discusses the music behind Take It Like A Man and performs live.
