The Beths joins host Stephen Kallao

It wasn’t long after The Beths’ lead singer and lyricist Elizabeth Stokes was diagnosed with Graves’ disease that she realized she couldn’t write songs like she used to. So, the band shook up the process, with Stokes typing out 10 pages of lyrics every day. The Beths join World Cafe to talk about the steps they took to get their creative energy on track, and play songs from their new album, Straight Line Was a Lie.
