Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis join host Raina Douris

You might not immediately recognize the names Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis – but you’ve almost definitely heard their work. They are the dynamic producing duo behind number one R&B hits from superstars like Mariah Carey, Boyz II Men, and Janet Jackson – In fact, it was Jackson’s 1986 breakthrough record Control that earned them the Grammy for Producer of the Year. Now, Jam & Lewis: Vol. 1 is the first album released under their own names. All ten songs were written, performed, and produced by the pair – but vocals are contributed by friends old and new, like Toni Braxton, The Roots, and Usher. Hear all about the duo’s storied career.
