The Baseball Project joins host Stephen Kallao

A few friends, Steve Wynn, Peter Buck, Mike Mills, Scott McCaughey [McCoy], and Linda Pitmon of bands like The Dream Syndicate and R.E.M., asked “what if we only wrote songs about baseball?” As it turns out, America’s pastime is an apt backdrop for songs about winners, losers, and misfits, along with joy, regret, and despair. The Baseball Project join us to play songs from their new album, Grand Salami Time.

Listen to the session here.
